Strategic Objective Statement

Dalit and other marginalized women, youth and girls benefit from accountable, inclusive, and responsive state systems where caste-based discrimination is formally recognized and addressed through institutional reforms, policies, and equitable public investments.

Key Interventions

  • Advocate for National Roadmap on Anti-Caste and Gender Discrimination and Restorative Justice
  • Strengthen grievance redress, accountability and governance mechanisms
  • Conduct budget analysis and promote budgetary justice
  • Facilitate civic engagement, public campaigns, and media advocacy
  • Support institutional strengthening (e.g., National Dalit Commission)

  • Formal state recognition and apology for caste-based discrimination and untouchability
  • Policy reform and institutional accountability mechanisms
  • Equitable public resource allocation (budgetary justice)
  • Access to justice and grievance redress systems
