Project Achievements

Unleashing the power to dismantle gender stereotypes and harmful social norms

Feminist Dalit Organizations (FEDO) and Justice and Rights Institute Nepal (JuRI-Nepal) has jointly implemented project titled – “Pathways from Trauma to Empowerment-Fostering SocialNorms Change Through Storytelling and Collective Mobilization (Hamro Sahakarya)” fromMarch 2022 to April 2026 in ten Local Government Units (LGUs)1 of Sudurpachhim and KarnaliProvince.The project was supported by UN Women and Government of Finland. The overall goalof the project was to enhance collective leadership and socio-economic opportunities of womenand marginalized groups to address Gender Based Violence (GBV), harmful social norms andstructural gender inequalities.
