CASTE AND GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS IN NEPAL
FEDO publishes an annual report aligned with the “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence,” presenting comprehensive data on violence against women and children, with a focus on Dalit communities. The report analyzes documentation from government agencies, NGOs, and media, highlighting emerging issues such as technology-facilitated gender-based violence, child labor, and evolving forms of caste-based discrimination. By providing evidence-based insights, the study supports policy advocacy, effective implementation, and strategic guidance for state institutions, civil society, and rights activists to prevent violence and promote gender and caste equality.
