-CASTE AND GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS IN NEPAL
FEDO prepares a report every year on the status of discrimination and violence against Dalit women and girls in Nepal. It does so with the purpose of maintaining a continuous record of such violence, highlighting through analysis the issues, and attracting the attention of stakeholders to find solutions. This study is a continuum of that tradition.
Objective of the Study The primary objective of this study is to document, analyze, and compile incidents of discrimination and violence against women and girls based on caste and gender in Nepal. The goal is to prepare an integrated report that provides consolidated data, draws the attention of stakeholders, and serves as a reference for developing additional strategies to mitigate violence.
