This project is working in 3 Districts namely: Banke, Kailali and Kanchanpur. The main objective of this project is to increase dalit women participation at politics, decision and policy making level. Under the plan of the project, Political Empowerment Training is also one of the activities of Central level which was undertaken in the Kathmandu Center.
The major objective of the training was to increase the knowledge of the trainee regarding politics and its importance, to enhance the capacity of the participants to deliver similar trainings and to identify the positive aspects and the shortcomings of the training manual. In the training there were 28 women leaders who were engaged in several parties such as likewise UCPN (Moist), CPN-UML, Nepali Congress, Rastriya Janamorcha, Madheshi Janadhikar Forum Loktantrik, Nepal Majadur Kisan Party. The training was facilitated by Meen Bishwokarma.
