It is an opportunity for global women to raise their voices for the establishment of sustainable peace, their inclusion in all sectors of state mechanism and to end violence against women.
Every year thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate their achievements. Likewise, in Nepal, women from different walks of life showed their participation to mark the 103rd International Women’s Day. To commemorate this global day, FEDO (Feminist Dalit Organization) had a joint rally organized by The Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare and Civil societies in the capital city Kathmandu where more than 100 organizations working in women sectors including FEDO had the active participation.
The rally was backed up by other women organization's with a common goal. The charm of this special day was witnessed in different districts organized by FEDO. Understanding the value of the day.
